Affiliate disclosure
In plain language
- What we get. A share of the trading fees Fomo collects from accounts opened through our links. It is a share of Fomo's revenue, not an extra charge added to you.
- What you get. The referral discount Fomo offers, which its own in-app referral screen described as "Get a 10% discount on trading fees for a limited time" when we captured it on 4 September 2026.
- What our link does not do. It does not increase your fees, change your discount, give us access to your account, or tell us who you are. We see totals from Fomo's referral dashboard, not identities.
- What Fomo calls it. "For a limited time." Fomo publishes no end date. Any site telling you the discount is lifetime or permanent is not quoting Fomo, and we mark its permanence Not verified.
Where the links are
Links to fomo.family without the /r/ path, to fomo.family/terms, to app store listings and to third-party reviews are ordinary links and pay us nothing. We hold no referral arrangement with Axiom or with any other product compared on this site, which is stated on those pages.
The conflict, stated openly
We are paid by the product we review. That is a conflict of interest and no disclosure removes it. What we can do is fix in advance what the money is allowed to change, which is done on the editorial policy page: it may affect which products we cover and how prominent a link is, and it may never affect a rating, a criticism or the outcome of a comparison.
The most direct evidence that this holds: our fees page tells readers that the referral code saves them nothing on trades below roughly 210 US dollars, and our comparison page names the trade sizes at which a competitor is cheaper. Both cost us money.
Disclosure practice
An affiliate disclosure appears at the top of every page and again in the footer of every page, so it is visible before a reader reaches a referral link and again after. This follows the principle behind the US Federal Trade Commission's endorsement guidance: the disclosure should be where the reader will actually see it, not buried in a policy page nobody opens.
