Affiliate disclosure: this site is independent and is not operated by FOMO Labs, Inc. Links marked as referral links pay us a share of trading fees when you sign up and trade. This does not change the 10% fee discount you receive. How that money does and does not affect what we write is set out on the editorial policy page.

Editorial policy

This site is paid by referral commission and reviews the product that pays it. That is a real conflict. This page states exactly what the money is allowed to change and what it is not, so a reader can hold us to it.

Independence

FOMO Labs, Inc. has no review of this site before publication, no approval over anything on it, and no agreement with us beyond a public referral programme that anyone can join. Nobody at Fomo has seen a draft. If that ever changes, it will be disclosed at the top of every affected page on the day it changes, not retroactively.

We have no referral arrangement with Axiom or with any other product we compare against Fomo, which is stated on the comparison pages themselves.

What affiliate money does and does not affect

It affects which products we spend time on. It is not allowed to affect a rating, a criticism, the presence of a negative fact, or the wording of a comparison. The two are kept apart by rule, not by good intentions.
Affiliate revenue does affectAffiliate revenue must never affect
Which products get a full review at all, since we cover what we can monetise and say so.The rating a product receives.
How prominently a referral link or code box appears on a page.Whether a criticism, complaint or failure is published.
Which comparison pages we build first.Which product wins a comparison, or how the losing side is described.
How often a page is re-checked, since revenue pays for the time.Whether an unfavourable fact is buried, softened or omitted.

A concrete test of this: our own fee pages state that the referral code saves a reader nothing on trades under roughly 210 US dollars, because the minimum fee applies either way. That fact reduces our revenue. It stays because it is true.

Comparisons must state where Fomo loses

Any page that compares Fomo with another product has to name the cases where the other product is better, in the body text and not in a footnote. A comparison that cannot find a loss for Fomo is treated as an unfinished comparison, not a favourable one.

Evidence rules

Every factual claim is placed in one of four buckets: primary and Fomo's own, measured by us, third party only, or Not verified. The rules and the five things this site refuses to claim are on the methodology page. External sources are listed on the sources page.

Corrections and right of reply

Errors are corrected with a dated public note on the corrections page, not by silent editing. FOMO Labs, Inc. and any other company written about here can dispute a claim by writing to hello@fomofamilycode.com; a documented dispute gets published alongside the claim whether or not we agree with it.

Risk note: an honest review is still not financial advice. Memecoin trading can cost you everything you put in. See the risk warning.
